Our GE Lunar iDXA DEXA scanner provides a highly detailed assessment of body composition and bone health, measuring body fat, visceral fat, lean muscle mass, muscle distribution and bone mineral density.
This advanced assessment can identify changes that traditional scales and BMI cannot, helping our medical team establish an accurate baseline, identify areas of risk and track changes in muscle, fat and bone over time.
Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) provides a detailed assessment of how your cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic systems work together during exercise.
By directly measuring oxygen consumption, carbon dioxide production and ventilation while continuously monitoring your cardiovascular response, VO₂ testing can establish your VO₂ Max, identify key physiological thresholds and determine personalised heart rate training zones.
This allows our medical team to provide exercise recommendations based on your individual physiology rather than generic formulas or estimates.
Your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) measures the number of calories your body burns at rest, the foundation for understanding your individual metabolism. Many people follow generic dietary or exercise plans that don’t account for their unique metabolic profile. Knowing your RMR allows for truly personalised nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, supporting weight management, energy optimisation, and long-term health outcomes.
Full body imaging is arranged through our trusted imaging partner. While these scans are not performed on-site at Veritas, we coordinate the referral, scheduling, and review results on your behalf, ensuring continuity of care throughout.
Full body imaging includes brain, abdomen and pelvis MRI, and high resolution CT chest. This comprehensive whole body screening provides a detailed scan of the body’s major organs, tissues, and structures. Designed to detect abnormalities at an early stage, including tumours, vascular changes, and organ irregularities, it offers unparalleled clinical insight for those committed to proactive health management and early detection of disease.
Following your Comprehensive Health Assessment with Veritas and where clinically indicated, a referral for full body imaging will be provided and next steps arranged on your behalf.
A CT coronary angiogram and coronary calcium score provides detailed, high-resolution imaging of the coronary arteries vessels responsible for supplying blood to the heart. Using advanced CT technology, this scan is able to detect the presence of early signs of coronary artery disease with a high degree of accuracy, often before any symptoms are present. For those with a family history of heart disease, elevated cardiovascular risk factors, or a commitment to comprehensive preventative health, a CT coronary angiogram and calcium score is one of the most valuable tools available for understanding and protecting long-term heart health.
A referral for CT coronary angiogram and calcium score is provided, where clinically indicated, based on the findings of your comprehensive health assessment at Veritas.
Veritas Executive Health partners with Eugene, a leader in genetic testing within Australia. Testing is arranged and conducted on-site at Veritas, with results reviewed in the context of your broader health assessment.
Genetic testing analyses your unique DNA to identify inherited predispositions to a wide range of health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, certain cancers, metabolic disorders and other health risks. Understanding your genetic profile does not determine your future, but it provides powerful, personalised information that allows you and your clinical team to make proactive, targeted decisions around health management, screening, and lifestyle.
Microbiome testing through Microba provides detailed insight into the composition and function of your gut microbiome, helping identify factors that may influence digestion, inflammation, metabolism, immunity and overall health. Using advanced genomic analysis, our clinical team translates these findings into practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies tailored to support gut health and long-term wellbeing.
Veritas Executive Health partners with Dexcom, a world leader in continuous glucose monitoring technology. Devices are arranged and prescribed through Veritas, with data reviewed in the context of your broader health assessment.
A Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) tracks your blood glucose levels in real time, 24 hours a day, providing a dynamic and detailed picture of how your body responds to food, exercise, sleep, and stress. Unlike a single fasting blood glucose reading, a CGM captures the full story of your metabolic health over time, identifying patterns and fluctuations that would otherwise go undetected. For executives, high performers, and those focused on energy optimisation, cognitive clarity, and long-term metabolic health, continuous glucose monitoring is one of the most insightful and actionable tools available.
Heart: A cardiac ultrasound provides a real-time view of your heart’s structure and function, assessing the chambers, valves, and overall performance of the heart. It is a powerful, non-invasive screening tool for identifying early signs of cardiovascular disease, structural abnormalities, or changes in cardiac function that may otherwise go undetected.
Liver: Liver ultrasound allows for direct visualisation of the liver, assessing size, texture, and early indicators of conditions such as fatty liver disease associated with metabolic dysfunction. This is one of the most prevalent and underdiagnosed conditions in Australia. Early detection provides a critical opportunity for intervention before significant damage occurs.
Carotid: A carotid ultrasound assesses the carotid arteries in the neck, which supply blood to the brain, by measuring carotid intima-media thickness (IMT). It is used to detect the presence of early plaque build-up and arterial narrowing, key risk factors for stroke and cardiovascular disease, often long before any symptoms are present.
Thyroid: Thyroid ultrasound provides a detailed image of the thyroid gland, assessing for nodules, enlargement, or structural changes that may indicate thyroid dysfunction. Combined with blood markers, it offers a comprehensive picture of thyroid health, which plays a central role in metabolism, energy, mood, and overall wellbeing.
Using industry-leading VALD performance systems, the same technology trusted by elite professional sporting organisations worldwide, our strength and power assessments measure muscular strength, balance, and neuromuscular performance with exceptional precision. These assessments identify asymmetries, track progress over time, and provide data that is directly relevant to injury prevention, athletic performance, and healthy ageing.
Our Exercise Physiologists provide personalised guidance to support strength, mobility, movement quality and long-term physical performance. Using objective assessment data, they develop tailored exercise strategies focused on progressive overload, injury prevention, functional movement and sustainable training outcomes.
Health coaching at Veritas bridges the gap between clinical insight and everyday life. Working closely with your assessment results, our health coaches provide personalised, ongoing support to help you implement meaningful and sustainable changes across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle. It is the practical companion to your diagnostics, turning data into action and habit formation.
